Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
The seven main energy centres, or chakras, in the body that run from the base of the spine up to the crown of the head are the focus of a Reiki energy session. As the practitioner begins at your crown and works their way down the chakras, you are likely to experience many feelings. Some of the things people experience during a Reiki session are peace, “buzzing”, warmth, coolness, pulsating, visions, even bliss.
Not only is a Reiki session an hour of uninterrupted relaxation, it can also help you process emotion, release unhelpful baggage stored in the body, and aid in supporting physical healing. Reiki is truly a healing art that connects the mind, body and spirit.
Reflexology and Reiki
Reflexology is a holistic treatment working with reflex points in the feet, which relate to a different party of the body. The aim of reflexology is to achieve a holistic balance on a physical, spiritual and emotional level. My treatment is a combination of classical reflexology, chi reflexology and reiki.

Holistic Massage and Reiki services are provided at Alethea Holistic & Healing Services by Diploma Certified Therapist, Catherine Noonan. The ultimate goal of massage therapy is to help the body to heal itself and to increase general health and well-being. Massage drainage releases toxins and generates feel-good endorphins to help the body to relax. Reiki provides an overall sense of well-being through energy healing.
