Our mental health is the most important asset we have.

With that in mind, the Alethea Team is providing FREE support for #Alethea service users during Covid19.

We want you all to know that we are thinking about YOU and hope that you are all staying safe and well.

Over the years at #Alethea, whether you’re part of our team, clients, students, meditators, visitors, friends, past or present, we’ve built up solid relationships with you all. We value YOU deeply and are very grateful for all you have put into our services. Without your constant faith and trust in us, #Alethea would not be in existence. We extend our gratitude to each and every one of you.

It is now our turn to give back to you. It’s the very least we can do. Now, more than ever, it’s vital to take care of our mental health. These are unprecedented times and each week brings us a new reality in a newly forming society where we are attempting to adjust to abnormal normalities.

How do we handle it? We don’t know anymore than you do, but we do know this much, #SUPPORT is vital. Going through this alone is not a choice you need to make. We are here for you, and want to support you. Two heads together was always better than one!

We’ve just finished a five week program for families introducing Choice Theory into your homes. We hope you have enjoyed it. It was an ideal time when you were all at home to use that time to find new ways of relating, and we hope that the skills you’ve learned will benefit you long after this pandemic is over.

We’ve also been doing online support through meditation on Wednesdays and Thursdays since the lockdown began, and we’ll continue this for as long as you’re finding it useful.

All of our therapists are working online and we commend each and every one of them. Working in this way was very new to us too, and we are happy to say we’ve mastered it now, and the only difference is, you are not in the room with us. We are amazed at how much therapeutic work that can be done online.

Before Covid-19 pandemic, online therapy was not something we even contemplated. But again, there is absolutely no need for anyone to be unsupported during this time. Our therapists need to charge for online #CounsellingPsychotherapy, but will adjust fees according to monetary changes you may be experiencing. No one at Alethea will be left without their support.

At the same time, our therapists at #Alethea have been providing FREE online support for our frontline workers and will continue to do that throughout this pandemic. We are inspired by what they do on a daily basis to support us.

And YOU are our heroes too!

Getting up each day and doing what needs to be done to be the best version of yourself is challenging right now. We want to support you and to be a part of your support structure. Please, don’t struggle alone. Taking care of your mental health now is vital to how we’ll come out of this crisis. We’ve all been shook and shocked. Our world as we knew it has changed dramatically.

We’re now adding to the FREE services that we’re providing, and we endeavor to be here for you through all of this, should you want our support. All and any of us need someone to care for and someone to listen to us.

You’ve been a part of us for a long time – we haven’t gone anywhere, and we haven’t forgotten about one single one of our service users. We are right here if and when you need us.

🧡 FRIDAY – HAPPY PARENTS, HAPPY CHILDREN, 11am-12noon, delivered by #UnaAhearne.

🧡 SATURDAY – SUPPORT AND RELAXATION THROUGH THE ANGELS, 10am-11am, delivered by #CatherineNoonan.

🧡 SUNDAY – SELF KINDFULNESS THROUGH MINDFULNESS, 11am-12noon, delivered by #KimOwens

You can join in one or in all of these FREE online supports. You don’t have to make a commitment to attend, you simply just let the person delivering the workshop know that you wish to attend and you’ll be sent the link weekly, where you’ll choose if you wish to avail of that support on the day.
