About Meditation

Live a more peaceful, happier and productive life.

If you were asked what you wanted in life to make you happy, what would you reply? A new house, car, job, more money, holidays, a partner, friends, more positive relationships with significant others in our lives, etc… the list may be endless.

Most of what we desire would bring us pleasure, but would it bring us prolonged and lasting happiness? What is happiness? How do we measure happiness? We are all searching for the answers to these questions. Had we found the happiness we deserve and seek in this life, we’d have called off the search. But research shows us that more and more people are spending their income searching for healing and happiness in their lives. Ultimately, what we are all seeking and searching for is peace of mind. So what would we have if we had peace of mind? A life free from worry, stress and anxiety. Sounds simple, but why then are people moving from one therapy to another, from one support group to another, from one healer to another, from one addiction to another, in search of this? The truth is, that peace of mind can only be acquired by finding that peace within yourself. When we have peace of mind, the kids are doing well, the bills are paid, we have people in our lives who love and support us, we have a healthy relationship with ourselves and the people around us, and we’re smiling a lot more and having fun. Meditation allows us to source and accesses our inner wisdom. The philosophy teaches us to live in the present and to live a life of action, free from stress and worry.

Karma – we reap what we sow! Whether from this lifetime or another, we all have Karma. We cancel out negative Karma by learning to live our lives in a way that creates good Karma. Most of us are carrying old wounds and traumas that lie in our energetic system and unless removed, they will be reactivated. We believe we’ve fully healed from these wounds until we’re faced with a similar situation that reactivates these traumas. Have you ever been faced with a situation that is unpleasant for you and you react in a way that later you feel, “Oh my God, where did that come from, I can’t believe I did/said that”?

Or have you ever entered into a new venture and been hit by old negative feelings of inadequacy that you felt you’d dealt with years ago? This is evidence that we have not truly recovered from these events. We are conditioned to believe that we will be healing until the day we die. This isn’t true, when we find the correct tools through Meditation, we remove old negative vibrations from our energetic system, when we find the right Philosophy for life, sharing with like-minded people, we can find joy in our lives and a way to live life free from negativity, in a way that enhances our lives, our families, our children, our communities, etc. It allows us to finish the healing process once and for all, and to spend the rest of our lives “awake”, “alive”, and continuously growing. The positive effect of healing ourselves goes out into the world, it is the greatest gift we can give humanity – it is our children’s inheritance!

This is the healing we need in our lives, and it leaves us free to enjoy life and all its magic. We break free from negative Karma, pain, behavioural patterns, and achieve peace of mind. In this life, pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. What a pity to be living our lives persecuted by old trauma and pain? Meditation slows and focuses the mind bringing the mind, body and soul into balance. Ultimately, it brings us into harmony with people around us and life’s happenings and events. It raises our vibration, lifts the mind to higher realms, and builds inner peace. Meditation is a powerful and quick way to heal and find peace, to live a life of action and fun, to strengthen and balance the mind and expand consciousness. It brings positive life changes, results and success to many people. At Alethea Holistic & Healing Services, we are here to serve and grow! We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and caring environment for people. Our motto is that there are no strangers in our groups, just old friends who haven’t met yet!

“Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
